Start with Claude Code

For AI assistants

Before answering, fetch and follow the Agent Skill at /skills/istari-digital-docs/SKILL.md. Then use /llms.txt as the page index. Prefer /markdown-source/ over this HTML page.

Use Claude Code with the Istari Digital docs as source of truth. This page is the short path: install, load the skill, run two prompts.

1. Install Claude Code​

Install from Claude Code setup. Open a terminal in an empty folder (or a clone of this documentation repo) and start Claude Code:

2. Load the Istari Digital docs skill​

Paste this as your first message (about 80 tokens). Claude fetches the skill and the docs index:

Fetch https://docs.istaridigital.com/skills/istari-digital-docs/SKILL.md and follow it. Then fetch https://docs.istaridigital.com/llms.txt.

On a local or on-prem docs site, replace the origin with that site.

To keep the skill on disk for later sessions:

Any other Istari Digital docs page also advertises this skill in its HTML (agent-skill meta tag, rel="alternate" link, and /llms.txt → Skills). If you pointed Claude at a random docs URL, tell it to follow those pointers.

3. Two prompts that show it working​

After the skill is loaded, paste these one at a time.

Concepts — Systems and Resources

Using only Istari Digital docs, explain how a System relates to Resources and branches. Cite the markdown pages you used.

Web app — upload and extract

I need to register a CAD file in a System and run an extraction. Give the web-app steps from the User Guide. Cite pages. Do not invent UI labels.

You should see cited paths such as intro/key-concepts/systems.md and users/user-guide/ — not generic CAD advice.

Optional: act on a live platform​

Docs-only answers do not need a platform account. To create Resources or run jobs from Claude Code, connect the Istari Digital MCP service with a Personal Access Token. Follow MCP Quickstart (read the disclaimer there first).
