Connected Sources
Connected Sources is off by default. Enable it under Application Settings → Experimental Features → Connected Sources. The toggle is per browser and is remembered there. See Settings.
Connected Sources lets you browse an app integration and connect its items to Istari as resources. Select a folder or a hierarchical model to connect everything under it at once.
Only Teamwork Cloud app integrations are supported.
Enable Connected Sources
- Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Select Application.
- Under Experimental Features, turn Connected Sources on.
A connect icon appears in the Resources panel header. Turn the toggle off the same way to hide it.
Before You Start
- Ask your administrator to add a Teamwork Cloud app integration. Administrators, see App Integrations.
- Add your credentials for that integration in Linked Accounts.
Connect Resources
- Click the connect icon in the Resources panel header.
- Select an app integration.
- Select the items to connect.
- Click Connect.
Istari syncs the selected items from the source. Folders and large models can take a while. To check progress, select the resource in the Resources panel.
Connected resources appear in the Resources panel under a sub-header for their integration, such as Teamwork Cloud.
Sync a Resource
Pull the latest changes from the source into Istari.
- Open the resource.
- Click Sync in the page header.
The Sync button shows when the sync is complete.
Edit the Sync Selection
Choose which child items are included when a connected resource syncs.
- In the Resources panel, click the ⋯ (more actions) icon on the integration sub-header.
- Select Edit Selection.
- Check or uncheck items. Unchecked items stop syncing but remain as resources in Istari.
- Click Save.
Disconnect a Source
- In the Resources panel, click the ⋯ (more actions) icon on the integration sub-header.
- Select Disconnect.
