Integrations

The Istari Digital Platform integrates with engineering tools (CAD, simulation, MBSE, office productivity) and third-party data sources to extract data, run functions, and automate workflows — all within your infrastructure.

For a conceptual overview of how integrations, modules, agents, and jobs work together, see Key Concepts — Integrations. To build your own integration, follow the Integration tutorials.

What is in this section

Each tool integration page is a reference for a specific tool. It covers:

  • Supported functions — what you can do (extraction, parameter updates, simulation runs, etc.) with the full list of function keys.
  • Inputs and outputs — accepted file types, connection methods, and the artifacts each function produces.
  • Prerequisites — required software versions, licences, and agent configuration.
  • SDK and UI usage — how to run each function from the Platform UI or programmatically with the Python SDK, including example code.

Third-Party App Integrations

Third-party app integrations let you connect to external data sources — services like Google Drive, Microsoft 365, PTC Windchill, or Dassault Teamwork Cloud — so the platform can reference and process files that remain in those services. Unlike the tool integrations above, these establish a link between the external source and the platform rather than running functions on files. See Third-party data source in the terminology.
