Istari Platform​

Performance and Stability​

This release includes significant improvements to performance and stability across all areas of the Istari Platform stack.

The below notes list the highest-impact improvements.

UI​
  • Improved artifact viewing at scale (better multi-source rendering, job-based grouping)
  • Major performance work in file viewing (virtualized viewer to handle large files more smoothly)
Backend​
  • list_models and get_model endpoints optimized with 3-5x speedups
  • create_artifact performance scaling dramatically improved
  • Job listing queries improved from 5-60 seconds down to 30-300ms
  • list_agents queries reduced from ~2 seconds to ~16ms
  • New job reservation system prevents race conditions between agents
  • Jobs now include agent information when claimed

MAJOR REDESIGN: Files page​

  • Large-scale refactor and rollout of the new Files page (now the default)
  • New/expanded capabilities:
  • Artifact search, grouping, remote indicators, and infosec level display
  • ZIP expansion
  • Interactive HTML rendering in a sandbox
  • SysML rendering in the frontend
  • Reliability + UX fixes across the new experience (uploads, version selection routing, header/layout issues, file tree behavior, model download/archive fixes)
  • Introduced new activity experience with a new panel used across the app to view jobs

MAJOR REDESIGN: Jobs page​

  • Jobs page updated to incorporate the Activity/Performance panel and new visuals/layout

Systems onboarding improvements​

  • New Systems list page
  • Improved onboarding flows: empty state, file upload, and create configuration

Quality of life​

  • UI cleanup: neutral theming, sidebar cleanup, modal alignment/behavior fixes, developer settings updates
  • Improved model/artifact diffs
