Finding Files

If you can view a file, you can locate it by filtering and searching your files on Istari Digital.

Finding a File on the Files Page​

  1. Open the Files section from the Istari Digital main menu.
    In the left-hand sidebar, click the Files option. This opens the Files page, which lists all files and artifacts available to you.

  2. Use the available tabs to refine your file view:

    • All Models – Displays every model file you have access to, including your own uploads and models shared with you.
    • My Models – Shows only the model files you personally uploaded.
    • Models Shared with Me – Lists models that other users have shared with you.
    • Artifacts Shared with Me – Displays extracted artifacts that have been shared with you.

  3. Use the Advanced Search panel to filter results.
    Click the Advanced Search toggle to expand a set of fields that allow for precise file filtering. You can search by:

    • File Name – Enter all or part of the model file name.
    • Description – Search by descriptive text associated with the file.
    • Resource Type – Filter by the type of resource (e.g., model, artifact).
    • External Version Tag – Enter a specific version tag (e.g., VIN-2024-GT500-001).
    • Uploaded by – Select one or more users who uploaded the file.
    • Updated by – Select users who last modified the file.
    • Status – Choose a status such as Active to filter based on lifecycle stage.

    As you apply filters, the file list updates automatically to reflect matching results.
